Twas the morning of Christmas
When all through the house...........

Not a creature was stirring......
Not even a mouse!


The stockings were bulging from their cup hooks with care............

In hopes of being emptied before they would tear!


With Katie in her jammies.............

As Kendra opens a gift, you can see Alayna's stash in the middle of the floor.

Alayna got TWO purses!
The purse from Grandpa came with a compact, lipstick, keys, a credit card and a cell phone.

Alayna recognized the cell phone and knew exactly what to do with it!!!!!

It's supposed to reach the low 80's today with some scattered thunderstorms.

Not breadcrumbs but maybe they will lead me to Alayna!

Sharing Love

Sunday night we invited Ron, Shauna, Hoss (Andrew the Silver Child), and the two whirlwinds (Katherine & Megan), over for pie. We are so thankful for friends like them!

So far, so good. Our tree is still standing and although everything under it is Alayna's toys. She can't get the good stuff because Santa has not brought it yet!

This is our card tree. OK, I cut it off in the picture! Anyway, we bought this to display the Christmas cards we receive.

Alayna has defoliated it several times already!!! And "my word"...the tree must have insects as several of the "leaves" are showing signs of chewing!

Hoffman's Addendum

Many years ago, my Mother (Nana), used to take Keith & Kendra to Hoffman's Chocolate's to watch them make the candy. Nana would always buy them something and Kendra usually chose the chocolate crayons (even though they were not made by Hoffman's) while Keith usually chose the chocolate basketballs. We didn't spot the basketballs but it may have been because of the wall-to-wall people.

So I don't know if Keith ever chose the crayons BUT Kendra has agreed to share this box with him when she gets home.
