I adopted (purchased) Ted without Katie's permission and left him in our guest room. Katie tolerated him for a few weeks and then Ted went to work with her. The children at the library fell in love with him and Katies's tolerence of Ted grew into appreciation and fondness. Ted returned to our home in time for Thanksgiving and greeted our guests as they arrived at our door.
